This 0.25 mile loop has some of the best views in Austin. Mount Bonnell is the highest point within the Austin City Limits at 775 feet. From the lookout point you will have breathtaking views of Downtown Austin, Lake Austin, and the surrounding hills. You can either climb a stone staircase on the south end of the trail or climb a dirt incline on the north end of the trail. This is a popular visitor attraction and can become crowded. There is plenty of parking on Mount Bonnell Dr.
